ZJ Louvers are great
I'd been having trouble with my ZJ overheating in the Tx summer heat and after replacing the entire cooling system i thought i would try these louvers to let out extra heat. My engine still gets hot but the louvers made a huge difference in the amount of time it takes to get hot now. They were pretty easy to install as well. Took me about 2.5 hours to measure, cut and install. Definitely recommend if youre looking to blow off some extra heat!

Noticeable Difference
I have a 1998 ZJ 5.9L Limited and have been struggling with cooling in the AZ summers. I put these on over the weekend and was immediately able to see a difference. The engine still gets too hot but it takes quite a bit longer to do so. I took a thermal image and there is a ton of heat coming out of these. I think this is an integral part of the solution along with a thicker radiator, better fan, and high-flow water pump. The install was straight forward. I just put them on the hood like the "Sophie" picture in the listing. Put painters tape down and traced an outline. Then drew cut lines about 1/2" in from the trace lines. Used an angle grinder to cut out being careful not to go to deep and cut the underlying structure. I put a thin bead of silicone down to seal it and then fastened. I wound up using 1/4" rivets instead of the included bolts because it was easier.
